Since 1996 gas-elec has grown rapidly into a national network of successful regional managers and local engineers who have one thing in common: they are all franchisees - in other words, they have invested in the gas-elec business model, working as a team and with the unrivalled support of a highly successful and experience franchisor, gas-elec Safety Systems Ltd.
gas-elec has the strength of a two-tier franchise; a Regional Manager whose responsibility it is to get the business and provide all admin back-up for a team of local engineers who do the work.
We are recruiting engineers NOW to join our safety inspection franchise.
If you are a gas-trained engineer, electrically-trained engineer, plumber, heating engineer or a multi-skilled, qualified engineer, and would consider self-employment, then gas-elec would be interested in talking to you about becoming a gas-elec Safety Inspection Franchisee.
If you are a time-served, experienced electrician or have 16th/17th Edition and City & Guilds 2391 qualifications, we would be interested in talking to you about becoming an Electrical Franchisee.
If you would like to be your own boss and earn up to £60,000 a year - without having to do any admin, marketing, invoicing or debt collecting - then consider a gas-elec inspection franchise.
We offer full training, support and the latest technology and equipment.
Training and Support
Training is very important to us and at the core of our operation. You will be trained in our company-owned City & Guilds and CITB approved training centre and assessed in our own ACS-approved assessment centre. You will leave the gas-elec training centre fully-qualified to carry out your duties as a gas-elec Safety Inspector, operating under gas-elec's own CORGI registration.
Support is provided on an on-going basis by your regional manager and regional office who carry out all admin, advertising, sales and appointment-making on your behalf, leaving you free to actually carry out the work and optimise your earnings. All invoicing and debt collection is carried out centrally on your behalf.
gas-elec Core Franchise Training:
All aspects of running your franchise will be covered in the gas-elec core franchise training, which is part of your initial training period.
Business Training:
You will be trained in customer care, time management, use of the computer and software, VAT returns and all aspects of running your Safety Inspection franchise.
We will continue to monitor your business throughout and help you maintain efficiency. We will provide specific training that you may require in the future. This will be supplemented by regional franchisee training sessions and annual franchisee conferences, which are an important forum for new ideas and working practices.

Territories/Locations
We operate nationwide, and ideally you'll be working in close proximity to your own area. This will allow you to build close relationships with local clients, and you will receive the support of a regional area office.
