Who are National Enforcement Services?

Before you read on we think that this is the time to provide the correct definition of what is a Bailiff. A Bailiff is a person with legal authority to enforce the payment of debts by seizing the debtor’s goods. This process is known as ‘distress’. Distress is an old English word that means to take and lock up goods. Debt collectors do not have this authority. Bailiffs do not intimidate people although it is inevitable that some people who Bailiffs visit will feel intimidated. This is usually because the person has tried to ignore the debt in the hope that the problem will go away and the presence of the Bailiff is itself perceived as a threat.

Andy Coates is our CEO. He has been in the Enforcement business for over 21 years as both a Bailiff and as a manager/Director, passed the examination of The Enforcement Services Association ESA (formally The Certificated Bailiffs Association CBA) and has a vast experience of enforcement work. Andy is author of the Civil Enforcement Agent Course which was approved by the Association of British Investigators (ABI) and National Association of Investigators and Process Servers (NAIPS).

Our ethos at National Enforcement Services has always been to provide a good standard of service and to grow our business so that we are recognised for our quality of service throughout the UK. We are well on the way to achieving this. What it now requires is an outside input from a successful franchise operation. This will be well managed and achieve a growth rate similar to that achieved by the original concept.

Training and Support

We ensure that you are well equipped to start and grow your business. Training, ongoing business support and a wide range of resources are available when you become The National Enforcement Services Franchisee in your area.

One of the main benefits of Franchising is that it is a business partnership between Franchisee and Franchisor. Head Office support is essential especially in the early trading days of the franchisee, and it will always be readily available. In the early days there will be a very much hands on approach, gradually stepping back and letting you, the Franchisee, take complete control as you become more confident, professional and experienced.

As a Franchisee you buy the right to develop your business in a defined geographical area, with a guarantee from National Enforcement Services of no National Enforcement Services competitor in that area. Franchisees can offer their Clients the full breadth of National Enforcement Services expertise, all supported by the full span of our capabilities.

The operations manual contains all the information and know-how to run your own business successfully. It will be your point of reference for everything you do. It is a step by step guide on how to run and operate the business. This manual alone is worth the franchise fee. It’s a treasure trove of useful information and will save you time and money every step of the way. It is written in a clear way, following an easy to understand format. All the facts of the business without the fuss, and all at your finger tips from day one.

Are you for us?

There is just no escaping the fact that running your own business can be hard work.
