Training and Support
TrainingMany travel companies claim to offer training and support to its members. Few can boast a training academy and dedicated facility consisting of highly qualified and experienced trainers with a combined 70 years tour operating and retailing experience.
As a member of The Global Travel Group, agents are automatically given access to one of our well respected induction courses held at our Training Academy, the courses have been specifically tailored to provide all the information needed to make a success of your business venture.
The comprehensive two week course is moulded to the needs of newcomers entering the travel industry with no experience at all. The course assembles the building blocks of retail travel industry knowledge, taking candidates from the basics of the holiday market, right through to systems of usage and procedural knowledge. All aimed to allow you to trade confidently on completion.
Attendees never cease to be amazed at just how much they learn, for this reason, we supply as standard, a full suite of manuals and supporting reference materials to look back on and refer to once you leave the facility.
Additional to the support material that will provide you with the reference library of help and guidance, The Global Travel Group Training Academy also introduce you to our Agency Support Department. Our telephone based support team provide a wealth of knowledge; a life line available daily to offer help, advice and support when needed.
